Bee Shirt (Women's): Alia Shawkat Limited Edition Design

We are proud and excited to have collaborated with the talented Alia Shawkat to feature her artwork on our shirts. Alia is an Iraqi-American artist, performer, and producer, who you may recognize from iconic shows like Arrested Development, Search Party, and Living with Yourself, and movies including Whip It, Animals, and Duck Butter.

The bee featured on the shirts is a nod to ARC Circus Company’s recent children’s show, “A Bee Story”, which follows the story of two bees who become displaced by a fire and must re-build their hive. A Bee Story, ARC Circus, and Alia Shawkat are proud to collaborate on this project to benefit Iraqi Children Foundation.

Iraqi Children Foundation is a US-registered 501(c)(3) non-profit that invests in education, legal protection, and medical on-the-ground support for Iraq’s most vulnerable orphans and street children. Without these critical services, these children are vulnerable to abuse, neglect, and exploitation by criminals, traffickers, and extremists.
